Alissa Berg, Ph.D.
Alissa is passionate about actively engaging science teachers in the kinds of meaningful, inquiry-based experiences in which they are expected toengage their students. She is known for her wealth of NGSS knowledge and providing sessions that are not only grounded in the theory on best practices, but based on what actually works in the classroom. Alissa's goal is to strike a balance between challenging teachers, from beginners to the experienced, and offering them practical supports and concrete examples to transform their instruction and enhance student learning. Participants leave her sessions equipped with new knowledge and strategies, as well as the tools to implement them.
